Dan Allender
LEADING WITH A LIMP
When the past fails to offer us a sure guide, and when the present information is incomplete, contradictory, and skewed by our biases, then the future feels violently up for grabs. It is often in this moment thay we gravitate to rigidity, to a narrowing of options that pretends to simplify the complexity. We desperately want to believe the empty promise of certainty.

I look at this quote not simply through a leadership lens…marriage…..really all our intimate relationships. Broken person with broken person. None of us whole or unmarked.....looking for certainty...where none's really promised.
