I read this and thought what the……1 John 3: 19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 Those who keep his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
…got caught in …but…the heart is deceitful…who can know it verse…THEN I read it in this translation…..(msg) When We Practice Real Love 18-20 My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.
21-24 And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God! We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him. Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. And this is how we experience his deep and abiding presence in us: by the Spirit he gave us.

In my snesss….i lived under a condemnation from people, a perhaps perceived perception of condemnation… but a perception nonetheless and THAT well, let’s call a spade a spade here, that didn’t let me love people because of my needing their approval so badly and really in all reality I needed…. (bottom line everything is, was and always will be a battle to NOT be about me..) all this about condemning myself I guess, before you got a chance to do it for me….and now in Christ there being no condemnation, because I am forgiven, as radical and ridiculous as that sounds …His Grace is just that freakin ridiculous…..so now ????
To know what to do and not do it…is a whole new tightrope and one I am destined to walk the rest of my life….that’s kind of exciting….daunting and yet exciting
