Jeremiah 50 & 51; 3 John 1

Jeremiah 50: 6-7"My people were lost sheep. Their shepherds led them astray.They abandoned them in the mountains where they wandered aimless through the hills.They lost track of home, couldn't remember where they came from.

The relentlessness of YOUR love. (a shepherds love)
None of it understandable but amazingly followable once I gave up the trying to understand….
OK not amazingly EASY ....but to want to follow….
Not easy, never easy….Life is IN the hard

Jeremiah’s life was hard
Your words burning in his bones

3 John vs. 4 Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Truth!
To take this literally.
I don’t want success for my children I want…
I want THIS, plain and simple whatever it looks like for them, seeking Christ (walking in the truth)

More loosely, if anyone I’ve touched, rubbed up against, influenced is seeking Christ…ahhh what JOY.

And in their walk, they will touch, rub against, influence someone else to do the same….
INCREDIBLE

In these times of elections, war, economic downturns
All who know You ‘intimately’
Following
YOU leading
In times of chaos.... we will be pointing people to YOU
In times of chaos.... Jer. 50:4…will go in tears to seek the Lord their God

They’ve known Your voice and hardened their hearts to it?
Your voice, Your whisper when the world screams...

In chaos they will listen for YOUR voice…we are called to assure them it’s there???
But it won't make sense.....and that's OK
