Genesis 47 & 48; Psalm 10; Luke 19

last saturday in our discovering God group, felt like i heard 'stop hiding'...didn't make sense then or maybe didn't want it to. then monday seeing how very much i 'look out for my own welfare' and yesterday the word 'exposed'...not liking where this is heading afraid of where You are taking me but more afraid to not YIELD and follow.

jacob/israel dies but not before blessing joseph's sons in an order that perplexed joseph. joseph in 'saving' his family sets up generations of slavery and the book of exodus. we don't know why You do what You do and are not supposed to. we are to moment by moment TRUST You, not look out for own welfare.... move in and with Your Spirit's guidance trusting the story You are writing......is this right? in trusting You i have to listen to and seek You and in that trusting and seeking i would naturally/supernaturally not be so concerned w/my own welfare? and now it is exposed, how very much i look out for my own welfare don't trust You...to see this really see it for what it is....and i cannot give away what i don't have....

and then moving into luke, Jesus saw zaccheus hiding in the tree, a tax man.....saw Him and went home with Him. unworthy and a stinkin tax man.....You see me and like him it's about what Jesus wants to, intends to...will do....9-10 Jesus said, "Today is salvation day in this home! Here he is: Zacchaeus, son of Abraham! For the Son of Man came to find and restore the lost."
