Esther 3-8; Luke 18

I wonder if I should start another blog??...nah it would just end up being the same thing and noone reads anyway and really I don't care...I think I could write creatively about LIFE but...nahh....it's an online journal is what it is...

BUT sometimes you just want to share your thots and I think in real life I DO that enough......... so this is where I write and hope someday my kids or grands w/read it and 'maybe' fall in love w/You and Your Word...Your Son...and follow Your Spirit...at least that's the dream....what an amazing God You are and for them to discover THAT...well what else is there for me to dream of....

We leave Wednesday....for South Freakin Africa...how the heck did this happen?? I really wonder sometimes about You Father....how the prayers you answer, never look like the ones we think we're praying.....to live a life of RISK...one day it's relationships and another it's South Freakin Africa.....and that Dan and I get to do this TOGETHER....I am awed and grateful and just simply Praising You....wondering how I get to DO THIS...wondering and praying for YOU to be BIG so I can...I can....I can at least do...do....crap I don't even know....just expectant and hopeful and grateful Abba....so very very grateful....

The sovereignty of God and the obedience..no... perseverance of Esther...asking for prayer from everyone around her to DO what she knew she needed to do to save, be a part of saving her people....and then Luke 18: 1-3 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, "There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: 'My rights are being violated. Protect me!'
4-5"He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, 'I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won't quit badgering me, I'd better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I'm going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.'"
6-8 Then the Master said, "Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won't step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won't he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?"

I think we need prayer to go over there...I think there is visible Spiritual Warfare making you wonder about that which is invisible....so to ask for PRAYERS....to ask those around us to PRAY for us, with us......

and me/us to pray for Vision 58's outreach coming up, feeding 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? ....going out into the KC homeless population and seeking to feed the hungry....much to pray for there...for the people to step forward and serve, the food......prayers to reach Your hungry w/love....so to ask for prayers and to pray.....to be about Your business....
