1 Kings 4-5;2 Chron. 2: Psalm 101; 2 Thess. 3

[Solomon's wisdom hand in hand w/the largest of hearts?]
29-34 God gave Solomon wisdomthe deepest of understanding and the largest of hearts. There was nothing beyond him, nothing he couldn't handle. Solomon's wisdom outclassed the vaunted wisdom of wise men of the East, outshone the famous wisdom of Egypt. He was wiser than anyone—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, wiser than Heman, wiser than Calcol and Darda the sons of Mahol. He became famous among all the surrounding nations. He created 3,000 proverbs; his songs added up to 1,005. He knew all about plants, from the huge cedar that grows in Lebanon to the tiny hyssop that grows in the cracks of a wall. He understood everything about animals and birds, reptiles and fish. Sent by kings from all over the earth who had heard of his reputation, people came from far and near to listen to the wisdom of Solomon. The Message (MSG)

Your wisdom would bring a softening (I've witnessed and experienced it)...in softness is a growing.......
hard = small

Softness and wisdom grow faith and trust....
faith and trust lead to gratitude and gratitude grows faith and trust....

it breaks down when in faith and trust I begin to 'expect'.....
in EXPECT comes being let down and disappointment and fear....
in fear I harden and shrink....

so how NOT to expect???
HOPE is OK...
expecting is not.....
how to spot and change it into or back to HOPE?????

How is it that HOPE turns to expecting???
How quick it is that HOPE becomes not enough????
Is there really any difference in expectations and hope for me???

gratitude leads to faith and trust and hope guiding me to take RISKY chances w/lead to GRATITUDE...

Risky ideas / chances quickly turn to calculated and expectant moves w/lead to disappointment.... the whole moving w/o blinking, now there's risk.....I blink about 100X's before moving.....

How to move in RISK....in humility....

2 Thess. 3:5 May the Master take you by the hand and lead you along the path of God's love and Christ's endurance.

So me to grab Your hand and follow you into a life of love and endurance...
ENDURANCE....doesn't sound like You promise EASY....and when will that really sink in....???
