Went to a wedding last nite, a young couple whose desire is to have a Christ centered wedding. There is something about a wedding where both know that without Him they're not going to make it. Doesn't mean they are going to have a life of ease, but they both know that this day they are seeing each other at their best and they are committed to the days when they are not. Roy challenged them to not look to their marriage to make them HAPPY but to submit to the process of making them Holy......I love a wedding like THAT.
This one went back to Los Angelos praying for her to find and create, commit to that kind of relationship. Praying for her to want what He wants MORE than whatever it may be that she wants. I think that's an OK prayer, knowing as I am coming to know that what HE wants is always much better than what we may 'think' we want. She is an amazing young woman filled with dreams and passions and I just pray that she recognize they all come from Him....
Oh, yeah and we all did this while she was here......
