Psalm 117; 2 & 3 John

What a glorious day was yesterday.
Grands all of them together, I wonder when that will happen again? Having the one in California makes when they are all together such an amazing blessing and not one to be taken for granted. They that live in Cali, live there for a reason.....one being winter is not their favorite season and coming to the land of snow and ice is a sacrifice of which I am beyond grateful they make.
We did the 'found' gifts again this year and they never cease to bless me, to watch each person having taken the time to actually pray for the one they drew. To hear what they see in their person, what they desire for them. It really has made my Christmas more times than I can name. Even Emma and Gabe participated this year and the thought they put into their gifts so very very cool. It was a really glorious day and I am thanking YOU this morning Abba for allowing my family to know You, Your Son and to live seeking through Your Spirit.
I wonder about 2011, the word YIELD seems to be a word for me. Yield....

3 John 1: ¹¹Friend, don't go along with evil. Model the good. The person who does good does God's work. The person who does evil falsifies God, doesn't know the first thing about God.

Model the good.....I can't unless...unless I am YIELDED....yielded and absolutely dependent on You, counting on the fact that Your desire is this and in that dependence, yielded and listening, responsively obedient it can happen.....nothing good in me and yet not lost but SAVED by Your Son.......grace covering me when I fail, knowing how often i will fail but You never quit laying out the opportunities to LOVE.....I don't know...I know I could go in this circle forever or....I can pray and Yield....trusting You are doing what needs....trusting You.
