2 Kings 24; Jeremiah 22; Psalm 112; John 18

@lyndseyperry Miss Millie flipping thru my Bible beside me as I journal, reading aloud, "Jesus saved the world today!" Yes, sweet girl, He did!

My daughter twittered this first thing this morning and it made my heart smile. It's not about preaching to our children it's about living and them watching us....it's not about us explaining the unexplainable (or so it seems), it's about living in the wonder of it and believing in it and being changed by it...it's not about beating someone up with the Word, it's about being changed from the inside out by it ourselves......it's not about having to be perfect.... it's about learning to live in the imperfection and brokenness in Your Grace....
I forget that so quickly and begin to look for everything but You...

I want to live dependent on my Christ....Your Spirit...Your Word.....and in that dependence become more loving and about others...all others....
