This morning reading about Gideon seeing how little time God wastes in explaining.....He asks us to 'remember'....He shows us what happens when we turn to Him.....He promises to be ahead of us when we follow....He forgives and pulls us deeper and deeper into a life with Him at the center....His forgiveness of a people who 'continue to do what is evil in his eyes'......when they turn back.....

I am sorry for living a life of fear which I am discovering is simply continuing to want what I want.....Help me Abba to want what you want MORE.

I am finding that "remember" theme coming thru so vividly for me right now. It is so easy to be freaked out-so easy to forget that the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE IS WITH ME. How does that happen?! When I remember, I have courage, the problems seem suddenly so much smaller, and I am so grateful for this God who has wrapped me up in His arms. If only I wouldn't take so long to remember...
