Ex. 23&24;Ps. 14; Acts 5; Ro. 3

Reading about the Israelites and the Disciples....

I am way more like the Israelites and desire to be more like the latter...
.The Israelites ~ Your promises to them and theirs to You...I know theirs ended up being worthless and breaking Your heart. Evidence of my stubborn rebellion and impatience..air of entitlement....how to move into surrender and perevering faith...to live more like the Acts community.
I have those promises and more and am called in Christ to believe and follow...like a sheep and now a shelless turtle dependent on You...head in Your hands, heart in Your protection following wherever You lead.
And then....then to NOT become Pharisiacal in that...soft and humbly, helplessly following.
Such power in the contrast...seeing where I fall now and praying to land feet firmly...knees on the ground following .
What is Your desire for us as citizens of the US to serve the citizens of Haiti??
