We brought to completion last nite a group of people that has been so much JOY to me, started w/a marriage in crisis and is ending w/ all of us desiring to live our lives seeking and obedient to Jesus....how did that happen???
I read Jeremiah and hear live 'counterintuitive and surrender' when I live absolutely fighting against EVERYTHING tooth and nail and in my own intuition....
Family we have failed to love well and now look at us like we're crazy...
Friends who don't know this aspect of our lives....
So what now Father......a wedding.....a trip to South Africa...all incredible blessings and here I am drowning in FEAR....
1 John 2: 15-17 Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
The news this morning....crap no wonder I don't start my day w/that.....it's only about You....and there are people known and unknown to me who perhaps don't know the FREEDOM You provide, the love, the care, the protection.......never safe but always protected....please today, moment by moment help me to remember THAT....Thank You Jesus and I do love you and desire to live in You.....You even call my Your child....28 And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.

Got this here ...where I am regularly challenged...to live in HIS FREEDOM....
He throws FREEDOM,
like a grenade,
into our bondages.
And it explodes
out from every inward room...
until LIFE,
that consuming fire,
lays waste every rival,
leaving only unconditional surrender
and the ravishes of LOVE
in its wake
