Romans 8

Msg. vs. 12-14 So don't you see that we don't owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There's nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God's Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!
15-17 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?" God's Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what's coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we're certainly going to go through the good times with him!

What's next Papa?...wow we have this.....I have a neice living this, heading for India, scared to death and yet taking her most recent nursing degree and going to work in Kolkata, India. I am awed by her and ability to risk, to trust Him.....and when I read this and watch her journey, I hear this song and this lyric in particular...
C'mon Becky, let's go for a ride If I'm driving too fast then I apologize
But there's a world out there that we left behind
Full of souls as important as yours and mine
Looks like a reckless road, and a sacrifice
And I'm crazy scared it may cost our lives
But then I remember Jesus died
So c'mon Becky Let's go for a ride

by 'cost our lives'...I just won't get to continue to DO what I want but maybe have to listen and follow to where He leads, doing wha He wants........'What's next Papa?'
