Genesis 2

Words are important to me @ my discretion . I can be so literal when I want to be. I have a strong tendency to 'hear' negative....
Reading 'about' the campaign is dangerous for me, anothers interpretation of the candidates speech or event or....so to 'pay attention' to this process.

Genesis 2:17 .....but you must not eat of it....for when you eat of it you will certainly die.
Satan tells Eve...3:4 You will not certainly die...

die PERIOD
die instantaneously
die......certainly

So, in the garden , Adam and Eve created in Your image ~ image of the Triune God, we were created to not die?
We fell so far from your plan.
Not only to not die but to run around naked...so very far from Your plan.

You, this Triune God in the perfect community vs.18 it is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helpmate for him.

Woman was not God's first choice (You knew the trouble we would be to man?) ....we were created to be a helpmate.

These are the thoughts this morning and then of course having read Genesis 3 first...

First to walk with Him and then to hide.....

So nothing too clear but much to ponder today ...
