2 Kings 13 &14; 2 Chronicles 25; 2 Timothy 3

2 Kings 13:3 So the LORD's anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son. (NIV)

I so prefer a picture of You broken hearted at our sins and brokenness, stubborn refusal to turn to You. How do I not see You burning in anger? Never again a flood like Noah's, I know...broken hearted/burning in anger (exasperated) how am I to know, am I supposed to KNOW? Do I need to?
Works out of fear is not your intent ....'work out your salvation in fear and trembling'..........so to seek Your 'favor"?
There is no favor, just forgiveness in Christ- GRACE. Be grateful and just completely surrendered, LIVE in the mercy and grace,of Your love, just DRENCHED in it. Pray for others and LOVE ALL OTHERS... chosen or not is not for me to know, JUST LOVE LIKE CRAZY and seriously that You call us to do so is crazy. :)

2 Timothy 3:12In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Back to the whole 'safe vs good' thing. You are good and I am protected because of Christ...I don't want to be...2 Timothy 3:7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. your truth is to LOVE, hard as that may be, to love like crazy....not just keep doing what I prefer.....
